Prof. Ts. Dr. Rabiah Ahmad

University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia

Biography:

Rabiah Ahmad is currently Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Innovation University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. She obtained her First Degree in Computer Science from University Technology Malaysia and her MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway University of London. Rabiah graduated PhD in Health Informatics from University of Sheffield UK. As Professor in Information Security Technology, Rabiah Ahmad authored to various type of articles related to cybersecurity, authentication, risks analysis and others related area. She also Co-Chief Editorial committee to OIC-CERT Journal of Cybersecurity which known as Industry Journal hosted by Cybersecurity Malaysia. Professor Dr Rabiah Ahmad was a project leader to research in information security funded by various sources with its value more than RM1 million. Recent project participated by Professor Rabiah Ahmad is Cybersecurity for Railway funded by industry. On the last note, Rabiah Ahmad actively involved in preparation of strategic action plan for National and International cybersecurity roadmap. Her book Basic cryptography provided insightful information at basic level to practitioner.

Prof. Dr. Huda Ibrahim

Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia

Biography:

My research interests are related to Information Technology Transfer, e_Government, Information Sharing, Smart City, and Social Informatics. Have successfully supervised seven PhD students and one master student by research. Currently is supervising six PhD students in the areas of Information Sharing, and Smart City. Have involved in a few international research grants including research collaboration with three universities in Indonesia (under Matching Grants), and currently is involving in Brecil_ERASMUS Project with Asian Europe Institute, Universiti Malaya, and universities in Laos, Holland, German, Sweden (under ERASMUS grant). Has been serving UUM as the Dean of School of Computing since 2011.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nazir Ahmad

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia

Biography:

Mohammad Nazir AHMAD has educational background includes the achievement of a degree in Bachelor of Information Technology in Industrial Computing from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) (1998), and subsequently receiving an MSc in Information Systems from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) (2002). In 2009, he was awarded a PhD in the field of Information Technology from the University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia. He is currently an Associate Professor at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He has been active for many years in the fields of Ontology and Knowledge Management; areas in which he has been supported by numerous research grants, totaling in excess of RM 3,000,000. In addition to this, he has authored at least 150 publications comprising of 88 indexed journal articles (Scopus/ISI), 27 non-indexed journal articles (Non Scopus/ISI), 55 refereed conference articles, 6 chapters in books, 4 edited books, 8 newspapers articles, 3 magazines articles and 2 technical reports. He has supervised 19 BSc, 12 Masters and 12 PhD projects to completion and is currently supervising 8 PhD candidates. His firm belief is that the application of innovation, creativity and passion is necessary in anything that people want success in, and he believes that this is what ensures that academic work has a significant contribution to community and real world problems. He always strives for strategic balance by bridging the gaps between academic, business and industrial worlds. Dr Mnazir is also member of the International Associations for Ontology and Its Applications (IAOA), member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and Exco of Technology for Malaysian Association for Information Systems (MyAIS).

Assoc. Prof. Ts Dr. Nor Azman Ismail

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia

Biography:

Associate Professor Ts Dr. Nor Azman Ismail became a Member of IEEE in 2017. He has been an active member of the computing research community for over 25 years, contributing significantly to academia. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Nor Azman has held various leadership positions, including Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation), Associate Chair (Research and Academic Staff), Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs and Head of Virtual Visualization Vision (ViCubeLab) Research Group. His administrative roles have spanned from 2008 to 2018, showcasing his commitment to shaping the strategic direction of research and innovation at different levels, nationally and internationally.


Dr. Nor Azman's research interests span Multimodal Interaction, UI/UX experimentation, Image Retrieval, Web Mining, Human-Centric AI, and Computer Vision. His commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering industry collaboration underscores his dedication to pushing the boundaries of computing research.


Currently holding the position of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computing, UTM, Johor Bahru, Dr. Nor Azman is an esteemed member of professional societies, including IEEE and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) SIGCHI Chapter. His contributions extend to serving on IEEE committees and publications, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field.
