2025 2nd International Conference on Smart City and Information System (ICSCIS 2025), sponsored by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and organized by its Faculty of Computing. The conference, held both in-person in Malaysia and through a concurrent virtual component on May 17, 2025, brought together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to advance interdisciplinary dialogues on the transformative potential of smart cities and their underlying information systems.

At the opening ceremony, Dr. Nur Haliza binti Abdul Wahab and Prof. Dr. Azlan Mohd Zain from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia delivered the opening speech and warmly welcomed the leaders, experts and guests attending the meeting. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Mohd Nasir bin Wan Kadir, Dean, Faculty of Computing Universiti Teknologi Malaysia delivered an excellent opening speech. With this warm sentiment, the conference officially commenced in a lively atmosphere.

Following the keynote speeches, 6 scholars from Bina Nusantara University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia presented an oral presentations to share their research findings.
The 2025 2nd International Conference on Smart City and Information System (ICSCIS 2025) concluded on a high note, with enthusiastic applause echoing through the venue.
